Lemmy.ml got overrun by new users. The instance seems to be to small for this rapid influx. That will most likely change. Maybe if some users can donate some money for bigger servers ;)

That’s a visual bug. You’re still subscribed. You can try subscribing and unsubscribing, that would fix it usually.

I've tried for days to resubscribe to a few communities but it doesn't seem to work.

I think it’s a bug due to Lemmy.ml being on a more recent UI BE version compared to most other instances.
Same problem and I only get it on Lemmy.ml that Iv noticed so far

Been seeing this a lot too. Normally re subbing will fix it, but sometimes you have to wait a bit
