It's raining gaming handhelds lately. Acer have now announced the New Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11. Don't expect SteamOS / Linux on them though, sadly they're shipping with Windows 11. Never say never though, with Valve expanding SteamOS perhaps we may see Acer jump on board in future too.

Not supporting SteamOS is a downer. I might be looking for a replacement with my Deck with a handheld that could run longer and cooler.

Aren't removable controllers on a handheld gaming device patented by Nintendo?

Nah, there are lots of devices that have them already, notably the Legion Go.

16GB of RAM is not enough to run Windows plus game and the onboard graphics cannot even compete with a RX 580

FYI, userbenchmark not exactly the most unbiased or honest website to reference.

Since when we compare a GPU runs on battery with a GPU that eats 185 Watts?

A 780M is noticeably better than the Steam Deck GPU, which is what it'll be compared to.

I suspect that price is a bit high for most people. I think it's largely coming from those screens.

Please stop using UserBenchmark, they are dishonest to the point where they started throwing Intel CPU models scores out of whack negatively just to skew AMD results.
