Maybe, maybe not. He strikes me as more of an opportunist rather than any sort of disciple of truth. He's supposed to be a cut-and-dry physicist/astronomer, but he has an incredibly hostile approach to anyone who suggests his conclusions are over-hyped.

I kind of agree. I was not impressed by the paper he co-authored with Kirkpatrick.
Still, I think he represents a road to disclosure, just not the one where the bad actors of the cover up are exposed and punished.
