Update: it's good! I think I went a little heavy on the lemon, it's overpowering things slightly. Interesting flavor profile. It's not something I'm used to but I'm really enjoying it!

Yeah I find it hard to measure 3/4oz too, and mine was also a little sour but I went very light on the sweetener since Chartreuse is so sweet and cognac kinda sweet already. But the flavors were so nice together.

I'm being not-quite dry for January, not drinking much, apparently others too as it's been slooow here. Got some of those bitter Italian sodas (Crodino this time, other years it's been Chinotto, think I prefer the Chinotto), those are pretty good when you don't want to drink but want something like an appertif/digestif.

Similar to a sidecar

Kinda like a sidecar / Last Word hybrid

That a ridgeback? Mix? She looks a lot like my (alleged) purebred

Edit: and Mt wife just got a kitten named Harley, too. Coincidences piling up

We are not sure what she is a mix of, but she's not as big as the ridgeback the guy up the street had. Similar look though and yes has a ridge, can see it when her hackles are raised. 75lb right now, and the vet says that's 5lb over, so she isn't huge, just on the big side of medium. Vet has her listed as lab/shepherd mix but we don't know, at all.
