A tree limb came down and snapped my milkweed. We had just talked to an arborist about trimming these guys.

They were about to bloom too!

Limb or branch are both common names for outward, horizontal growth from a trees trunk.

And a limb is typically the division that comes off the major trunk whereas the branches are divisions further down
