This is an honest question, I’m not trying to be pedantic: Isn’t this jewelry?
I mean, it is shaped like an IUD, but I thought the copper ones were plastic with copper attached. Full copper would be rather… inflexible, and probably even more uncomfortable to implant. And I see something on the back that could be a bale for a chain or earring hook, maybe? Or is that a typical feature of their construction?
In a random study of N=1000 males, none complained about IUD insertion or removal pain.
On a serious note: for my wife this was really painful. Make sure you’ve got a good friend or somebody to drive you home and make you tea or hot chocolate after.
i some parts of the world we call it copper-T, making it easier to guess... now i think about it, sounds very close to "cup of tea." would you like a copper-T?

What is important to know is that this can never be painful and anyone who claims otherwise is being hysterical

Apparently they can also cause issues much after insertion too.

Major reason I'm on the shot instead of this. The stories terrify me!
