Started with a soldier that was included with a Tamiya tank, no decent brushes but I enjoyed it. 2nd was a death knight from nextlevel, not bad. A friend 3d printed this at 48mm. Much can be improved but I'm happy with the progress.

I never really care about stuff like this, but that is one hell of a job. You do something with the highlighting? Happy accident? The lighting is perfect.

Watched a lot of YouTube videos on shading, I've never painted before. Started with Vallejo olive drab paint, added a bit of yellow slowly. Each coat is a slightly smaller area. After each coat dried I'd feather the edges with a damp brush to blend it together. I like the shading gradient "magic", it's a "Trust the process" thing. Have to stop, wait then come back later to see if another coat will help or be too much. Thanks though

I have absolutely no idea...to me it looks like he just harvested a gooey duck. A mushroom with a long stalk? No idea😂
