How can I add a community that's from kbin? Also, if I add a community from a different aggregator like kbin to my lemmy account, will that make it available for everyone on lemmy to find?

On lemmy searching for kbin magazines would probably be just like lemmy, but specifying the instance name.
So: !kbinmeta@kbin.social
On kbin if I’m looking for this community I’d search for @nostupidquestions and subscribe

Are they just not working for now or something? When I tried these, nothing was found.
For kbin, for now I just type the name of the lemmy community, and that will show a bunch of communities/mags and where they're actually from like "nostupidquestions" gives nostupidquestions@lemmy.world, NoStupidQuestions@kbin.social, nostupidquestions@lemmy.ml, nostupidquestions@lemmy.ca, nostupidquestions@mander.xyz. It seems if I try putting "@nostupidquestions" there's no search results
I'll put a picture of what I get when I search on lemmy

Pasting the actual url into the search box will work 100%

When you say add a community, do you mean subscribe to it like you would on Reddit?

yes

If you scroll down on the magazines “main page” you should see a subscribe option. It’s a bit frustrating that it got buried below the content.
