The ECB plans to redesign the EURO banknotes. It carries out a survey till end of August 2023 for EU citizens to express their opinions.

Yes, there were slight changes in the design, but the motifs (gateways, windows, bridges in various architectual styles) remained pretty much unchanged.
This time it's a complete redesign with (a) different theme(s).

Between 2013 and 2019 the "new" series came out. I think a new series every 12 years is reasonable

I don't even remember when was the last time I used banknotes. Not since COVID. I probably wouldn't be able to recognize the banknotes anyway so go right ahead, I guess.
