Never was a fan of that feature. I tend to type slow because sometimes I have a bit of difficulty putting my thoughts into words and it feels like the person I'm messaging is expecting a large paragraph when actually I just typed up a short sentence.

Always copy what you have written, so you can paste it and continue typing where you left off
