Sounds like a problem for them, not me.

I haven't "requested" time off in years. I'll let my employer know when I won't be available to work though, and with plenty of advance notice.

Instead of "request", call it a " notice of absense"

Can people really deny the denied vacation request ? I mean, does that not cause you any problems such as losing their jobs?

The better question is, would you want to work at a job that denies your reasonable vacation requests? If I give plenty of notice, and I'm not a fucking transplant surgeon or some shit, then my employer needs to be able to manage without me. If they cannot, that's a failure of management, not mine. If they will not, then fuck 'em.

Isn't it like really hard to get a job? What if u lose ur job and can't find a better one at all?

It's not hard to get a job, but it might be hard to get the specific job that is ideal for you.

Jobs come and go, vacation is just fucking GO!
