It doesn't make you more profound.

It just makes things hard to read.

I never thought about it.

But it makes reading slower.

It is their opinion that it is annoying.

People do annoying things without realizing it. If you post, it can cause change.

Because people don't realise a double space at the end of a sentence is a what keeps a paragraph together.
Just like this.

While a spare line like this does a paragraph break.
