I haven’t paid any attention to Apex since Catalyst. Could someone catch me up to speed on why Revenant needed such a huge rework? His kit always seemed quite situational but still usable.

Low pick rate. That's it. He didn't have any tactical movement abilities like Wraith, Horizon, Valk, etc.

Also, this is a way for Respawn to release a new legend without actually generating any new models or voice work.
