AI Character Chat - Refusing to connect when using a VPN

I am getting a refused to connect message when attempting to connect to the “AI Character Chat” and also when I click on “generate” to generate a character in the main AI Chat I just get "Loading … " in the “Character Description” box. (I am doing this using Surfshark VPN). Any idea?

(Sorry I posted this on another thread but then realised it might not be noticed so am starting a new thread. Hope this is ok).

Still getting same problem using VPN but not without.

CTRL+SHIFT+J gives : Unrecognized feature: 'ambient-light-sensor'. Unrecognized feature: 'speaker-selection'. Allow attribute will take precedence over 'allowfullscreen'. Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Occurs in Chrome and Edge and with adblocker and anti-virus switched off.

Sorry just a beginner. Means nothing to me. Does this help?

I've been getting similar errors and more. Hopefully someone has an answer, I'm also kinda new to all this.

I have also been having this issue with NordVPN

NordVPN was found selling user data years ago and it's dubious that they even provide real VPN services, as they are not open source. They are part of a large conglomerate of corporate VPNs and shouldn't be trusted. It's a shame so many social media influencers accept their money from promotions.

I use Airvpn, a non-profit run by hacktivists out of Italy and have been for years. I have not been having technical problems with perchance tools due to VPN, though I am not permitted to join chat boards or start an account on perchance while on my vpn. Kind of a shame but I can live with it.

Oh well. Not much use if the basics don't work with a VPN anymore. Shame. See you.
