Although good for the moment it feels like our demand would grow and the law of conservation of energy would catch up to us.
The seemingly limitless heat from the earth does have a limit and humanity's greed will reach it.

The earth core loses 47 terrawatts of heat energy to space every second. Pulling a couple Gigawatts of power out isn’t going to have a large effect.
