Our cats love hanging out in their carriers unless we actually need to take them somewhere.
Same. Gotta fight to get them in the carrier to go to the vet but once they get back they’re like “this is actually pretty comfy.”
This makes me want to buy a cat 🥹
If you want a cat, adopt one. Don't buy one. There are thousands of cats without homes that need one. Save one from being put down instead of buying one from a breeder that is exacerbating the problem.

Mine will happily jump in the carrier and hasn’t seemed to figure out it means he’s going to the scary place.
He is also dumb which helps.
