So there are these two kids in Ohio. One's goth and LGBT+, the other's really into Stevie Nicks' "gypsy" look, so naturally life in Ohio is a living hell for them. This movie's about a road trip they take to go to a club in NYC.

I believe when applied to Romani people it is indeed. In this case it refers to boho-chic fashion as alluded to in the song of that name, so I don't think so. That's just from reading wikipedia pages tho, if someone knows better feel free to chime in.
