Sadly Made O'Meter seems to be basically a wrapper for ChatGPT 4o-mini and the quality of the responses reflects that. It will confidently hallucinate incorrect owners for brands. It's only really reliable for well-known brands that you probably know the origin of anyways

I'd be fine with a text search based on brand/manufacturer name.

Does it have a privacy policy? What happens if I accidentally upload the wrong photo and I want it to be removed?

Tried a google images Picture of a fischertechnik robot arm. It recognized the robot arm but failed to get the correct manufacturer. Listed it as 100% Chinese when in reality it is made in Germany.

How does this work? Why does it need a photo?
