Honestly doesn't seem that weird to me, given I grew up eating voileipäkakku which is literally "a sandwich cake".

Grandma made really good ones, but I only learned to like them as an adult. RIP granny

There's a lot to say about Finland, positive and negative, but I don't think anyone has ever come here for the food.

Our national dish is "Karelian Stew", which is just cubes of pork and beef in boiled water with a spoonful of salt.

But the sandwich cakes can be nice.

Also with the talk about all the egg prices.. 10 euros for four of these.
