Hello all! Do any of you have advice on what kind of lenses/film/anything to use to shoot live music? I shoot around for fun with a Minolta Srt-101 - I forgot what lens I'm sorry! - but I'm just interested in any advice you find people have to offer.

Thank you! I've never heard of cinestill. I really think I'm going to try it out.

I use Ilford Delta 3200 for live music indoors. You can push it even further in lab with the right developer but I have had great results at box speed too.

Do you develop your own stuff?

black and white yes, but I send away any E6/C41/ECN2 work.

I've gotten stunning results with Cinestill 800 and Delta 3200 at 1000, both with a flash. I find if you're close to the stage 85mm is a good focal length. Autofocus helps a LOT. I've gotten such good shots with this setup bands have actually used my pictures in promo material.
