Reddit probably don't make that much money per user. If using Reddit makes more people buy european that probably has a bigger impact per person. If I buy 10 european groceries instead of American, then that probably affects the US economy more than a year of Reddit use.

To be fair, they probably get closed if they link to lemmy, no? I don't know how hostile reddit is towards lemmy nowadays.

Yes-ish - weren’t most of those store-brand technically produced by (in this Case Lidl) in Europe ? 🤔 I get the point though ;)
