The USA. I think it's more important than ever to decouple the continent from it's biggest country. Nobody would call China "Asia".

excellent writeup!

now my question... I, like many, have been railing at chuck schumer over the senate unwillingness to allow a govt shutdown.

with the various judicial fights that are about to come to a head, is there advantage to keeping the govt running during this time (forestalling emergency exec. orders, demonstrating possible doj court non-compliance is clearly flagrant, etc...)?

need some thoughtful insight here for the immanent shitshow. :-(
