I'm an Aussie. My mate has a diamondback python that hangs around the compost bin under his sink to pick off any mice that come looking for a feed. It occasionally strikes at people using the sink at night. It's not really an issue. Dumb snake.

Here's my thing.
Someone comes at me with a snake, I'm going to laugh at them.
Like, wtf dude? Have you trained that thing to bite on command? You gonna throw it at me and hope for the best?
Even if I knew that it was a venomous snake, and not a constrictor (which, I'd recognize a python, they are one of the most popular kinds of snakes in the pet trade. Might mistake it for a boa, but not a cobra lol), it isn't a great threat at all. Dude is more likely to get bit than I am, aggravating the damn thing.
I dunno, maybe im weird, but snakes as a weapon just isn't scary to me.

It isn't actually threatening, but if I'm not the owner of the store and/or it is insured against theft I'd be happy to play along like I am scared of the snake rather than be menaced with a different weapon that could kill me for real.

Now that's a good thought!
But, you haven't fooled me! You are just a chicken! Ha! Busted

All that for CBD oil??

The cashier held a snake for a photo while another dude grabbed the CBD oil. Less and armed robbery and more of a distraction
