Android TV Spotify app skips songs

Hi,

I have for a long time been struggling with the Spotify app on my Android TV skipping songs in my playlists. I first suspected that it was any songs with videos, but alas it is happening with songs without videos too.

I can't see a pattern with what songs are being skipped.

I have a Mi Box 4 and the app version is 1.91.8.

The strange thing is that the songs play if I manually start playing them via my phone, but songs are skipped after that.

Any suggestions for what might be the issue? Thanks in advance!
