What are your solutions for this?
I had a handful of small mats that match some games like Doomlings. Nothing for MtG or anything.
Just received the Marvel/X-Men Dice Throne Kickstarter (after 18 fucking months) and underestimated the amount of space taken up by 10 large 28"x14.5" playmats.

I like these https://a.aliexpress.com/_mPHM5zl, but there's lots of solutions.
Gamelax has a printable insert for kallax units https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/meeplekeepers/gamelax
I've seen these things that look fiddly as all hell https://a.co/d/8CcaDzl
And there's some good suggestions in this bgg thread https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2112143/playmat-storage
Personally I went with the tube because I dislike the idea of them being exposed to accumulating dust. And I like the idea that I can grab it and throw it over my shoulder if I need to take it to a game night. I don't have tons to store though and the tubes still leave an organization problem if you have lots of them.

Depending on how you prefer to store them, for really large playmats I like this 3D-printed holder. I have my table-covering mats in there.
