All I want is to take my F5 key and assign it to the media key for volume down. BIOS will not do this. Gnome lets me do it.

You have to type the key sym name into the input field. It is not a raw shortcut editor yet.

Thank you for the reply. What is the key sym for a function key? I have tried F5 for example but that wasn't right.

Does just

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not getting it. Are you saying that the problem is an "issue?" Is there still a bug or am I missing something?
