Man, only in the world of tech would a line of otherwise-gibberish mean something, lol.

It'd be like if I walked into an IT department and said 'Look, the new Klarbeltoogin 45 Mark 2 Foverkappin with double the totenomble is here!' and everybody just went 'Oh cool!' like they knew exactly what I was talking about. :P

I suppose that's fair, though it does seem to plague tech particularly. Or maybe it's just that tech is more public-facing about its nonsensical names and designations for shit.

None of this is nonsensical though.

Adafruit - brand name; meaningless in any industry.
ESP32-S3 - product code; random numbers in any industry.
Reverse - screen is on the back.
TFT - Abbreviation for the display technology.
u.FL - Abbreviation for the antenna type.

You could easily have something like that about e.g. mountain biking:

NEW PRODUCT - Sram Xg-1299 Eagle 10-52 Cassette

LOL, yes. Just in case it is of interest:

ESP32-S3 is the chip, this family usually comes with CPU + Bluetooth + Wifi.
Reverse TFT, this is a small display put on the other side of the circuit board from the chip.
w.FL Antenna, this is the connector on the Wifi Antenna.

I like these small boards, they are tiny and I need a magnifying glass for soldering. Its mind blowing how these tiny boards are more powerful than mainframe computers filling a room, and supporting 20 users, used to be.

Oh I looked it up to see what it was and worked it out, it just struck me as a particularly dense and nigh-unparseable name at first glance.
