That's really cool, man. Glad you're enjoying Linux. I love the connection you have with the people who are making all of this available for us at no cost. Make sure you donate to the tools that benefit you daily so we can help the good people who make them pay their bills.

Oh, just to not accidentally create the wrong impression - that's not me, I just shared the video and didn't want to editorialise the title. If you want to give them your message (that I think is important, indeed) - you can follow the link and should be able to comment with many different activitypub account options (PeerTube itself, Mastodon, etc.) - sadly, I don't think Lemmy is possible yet, because its design isn't user-centric but content-centric, and it lacks some of those AP-capabilities.

No worries. Thank you for posting the video. I don't have Mastodon or peertube unfortunately

this video is really well done. Its so casual compared with the nerdiness of most windows -> linux videos. Also does anyone know what that mic is? Also I love how smooth Peertube is. The compression and loading time is such a noticeable improvement.

It looks like a classic SM58 without the metal grille

Huh, it's not a natively supported URL by PipePipe but you can "share" it and it works.
