Why didn't they hang around and stayed for a few flaming cocktails?

Only good Nazis is a dead one and we should continue this tradition.

Yeah, that’s actually an interesting free speech question ….

  • normally Nazi anything is hate speech, and well worth limiting or giving consequences.
  • currently Nazi insignia is a valid political protest, given the direction of the current us administration

Is it ok, or not ok? And is it logical for that to change based on whether it’s a protest or advocacy?

How is siding with the current administration a protest?

When they projected that photo of Elon Musk heiling on the Tesla factory wall, that’s a clear Nazi symbol, and clearly not an endorsement of it. Maybe they mean something like that?

So musk heiling as he approaches naxiism is clearly unacceptable, but Pete Davidson heiling to satirize musk is fine?

...yes? Context matters. My go to example is "cutting someone open and taking out an organ is fucked up and a crime, unless you're like a doctor doing surgery in a hospital"

I feel like sometimes people try to handle human situations like they need to write a perfect algorithm that can run in BASIC.
