A horde mode is nice, but making the existing maps more diverse is what the game needs for me to come back. Making all the maps from tilesets was a move in the right direction, but not going full procedural means we have generic looking maps that are also the same every time. The worst of both worlds.

The rogue lite activity is really fun. I tried it this morning.

Have they added a similar rougelite mode to the one they had in vermintide or is this different?

I never played the Vermintide roguelite.

If you mean the chaos wastes, it's not that.

In Darktide its always 12 Waves, at the beginning you choose a focus ( Indulgence) which dictates the character of the buffs you receive throughout your run. (think buffs to melee/ ranged, survivability, etc.) You receive a random minor buff every round in accordance with the Indulgence you chose at the beginning, and every 4 rounds you choose a major buff out of three presented to you (also in accordance with your chosen indulgence).

The mode is pretty fun, though the fact that there are currently only 2 maps lets it get stale pretty quick imo
