Digital painting first attempt

This is my very first painting attemp with my new little wacom and krita. I need to get used more coming from trad, but i feel kinda proud being my first digital piece. Any advice and suggestions are more than welcome.

This is nice! I really like how painterly this is. Did you use the built-in brush libraries or did you customize your own?

I would just say continue what you're doing. Experiment with different blending options, brushes and textures if you want to branch out. I just installed Krita as well! Also thinking of trying the new GIMP as they just had a major release.

Thanks!, just krita from the box, It's a fantastic piece of software by itself, but I'll get some custom brushes for sure. I use Gimp for photo editing, also great, and krita for drawing.

Strong classic still life vibes, looks like you found your settings/vibe/workflow in record time! My suggestion is: keep it going! we want more!

Yeah! Thanks! I was afraid about the learning curve coming from traditional but at the end of the day it was very intuitive.
