These kinds of frivolous lawsuits won't lead to anything and as far as I know none of them has ever been decided in favor of the complaints.

There are hundreds of climate lawsuits working through the courts worldwide due to the fraud the fossil fuels industry engaged in to prevent meaningful climate action decades ago. They haven't been decided in favor of the complaints yet because only one has made it to trial (and still isn't decided yet)

This one, and others, are against governments and not companies.

Yeah. The government-targeting ones tend to be because governments aren't following their own rules. It's not a bad way to proceed
