I just got around to deploying FreshRSS and I'm looking for some self hosted content or just otherwise interesting feeds.
Thanks in advance!

The hackaday feed is pretty interesting if you're into that space

I think we had this question a while ago: https://programming.dev/post/26356684

Yup, the Lemmy search feature must be broken again. ;)
But that shouldn't stop people giving OP new ideas. :)

And a bunch of cycling news.
Every time this question comes up, I look at my list and realize a few feeds have stopped. So now I'm watching here for some new ideas. TIA y'all.

Pretty sure I’ve been subscribed to the slashdot rss for over 20 years

I too use Freshrss. I use a lot of the feeds from https://www.trackawesomelist.com/ which tracks all the Github Awesome lists.

I use it for all kinds of stuff, a lot of it Dutch. I have feeds on general news, some tech stuff, some Gizmodo tags for topics I enjoy, guitar and music news, and daily comics. The feeds I follow have been trial and error. Some of them have way too much articles and they get annoying. At that point I remove them and look for something else.

@AgaveInMyAss #nextcloudnews Let's me keep all of my RSS feeds (non-podcasts) synced between my devices. I already run nextcloud anyway, so I don't have to stand up another service .

I used to use Nextcloud News as well, but it stopped working for a while after a new NC version was released, some time last year. I installed FreshRSS as a temporary solution, but I never looked back. Yes, it's convenient that you don't need an extra service and that it's integrated in NC, but FreshRSS is very customizable and has a much better user experience. You can always link it to Nextcloud as an external page.
