When I was young, they were everywhere and bushes would be heaving with them. Can’t remember the last time I saw one.

I work on a peninsula where the majority of the land is a nature preserve so I see a lot of wildlife. There are turkey and deer everywhere, the biggest rats I've ever seen, and all kinds of birds and insects. Last year I rescued close to a dozen turtles that had wandered into the middle of the plant.
