Unreal Engine had some deceptive AAA games on Switch (as a fan of Crash, the 1-2 frame latency of the trilogy and the huge loading times of CTR really kills me).

But it looks like Nintendo is doing great games with it. I didn't know Yoshi's Crafted World use UE too.

I enjoyed Pikmin 1 (GameCube) and 3 Deluxe, yet didn't really wanted to buy this Pikmin 4. But the removal of the timer (I know, some really love the timer, but I like smooth exploration) and the emphasis made to exploration and gathering things make me considering it.

The removal of the day limit makes the game comfier. It turns it into a very casual exploration/resource gathering game which works well for a handheld switch pikmin game imo.

It feels very low frame rate and resolution. I wish they had prioritized performance over graphics. The performance is distracting.

The video says it has dynamic 900p and stable 30 fps tho? That doesn't sound too bad

Maybe it’s just that it’s the first Switch game I’ve played in a year then. I found the performance to be very off-putting.

Played it today, and even though it may not be 1080p, it feels pretty smooth.
