Ooo i really like those too. I got a Christmas cactus cutting a few months ago and it’s been growing pretty well. And yes the orchid is one of faves. I have a monstera that I also love. It’s roots are crazy!!
Reading Wikipedia, some of the side effects don't sound miserable: "contact with Dieffenbachia (typically from chewing) can cause a host of unpleasant symptoms, including …, excessive drooling, and localized swelling" Although most of them are less benign. Anyway, nice house plant, nicer body.

I have a Ficus Audrey that I quite enjoy. I have also cloned several from a Ficus Lyrata and they are taking over.
