Expect more fake eggs made of colored marshmallows or even potatoes on this year's Easter spread

So remember when people made jokes about Latvia and how they really wanted a potato?

That's us now, guys. The billionaire elite and ineffective politicians made us the butt of the joke we used to tell about former Soviet countries.

Yeah, bullshit. Most people don't buy more than a couple dozen eggs for Easter, and then only if they have young kids. They'll pay the extra five or ten bucks to have proper Easter eggs to dye.

Will this become a sign of the times? Will history books a few generations from how tell of how people were so poor they couldn't even have eggs for Easter?

We’re doing marshmallows this year, but honestly it sounds more fun bc you can eat them after in smores or something.
