1933, that's when Hitler won election and within a month and few days turned Weimar Republic into dictatorship.

And I would suggest resisting harder, as obviously they failed that time.

I have some unfortunate news, but that 1938 resistance took half a decade to work. Oh and alot if fighting and death.
