First time I did it by myself. Only spilled a little.

Make sure you clean up all of the spillover, it has a tendency to get hot in an engine bay and hot enough to ignite oil.

Don't worry, I spilled from the oil pan onto the floor, not the engine itself. I cleaned it.

Excellent! Oil on the floor is a rite of passage. Next step is getting it on your feet and accidentally tracking it through the house.
