Fried plantains. 'Tostones'
I make mine in an air fryer and season with Dan-Os or Ms Dash.
What seasonings do you use the most?

Unless I make my own from fresh plantains, which I eventually will. Goya is the only brand I can find near me. Unfortunately. But I am stoked to make homemade tostones.

In Panama we fry them in oil and call them patacones, they're outstanding with just some salt

Trump has all that Goya money for his Oval Office TV advertisement supporting the brand.

I forgot to turn off my sarcasm filter today. Sorry for the inconvenience, lol.

They're a high starch part of the banana family, but taste more like slighty sweet potatoes in my opinion. They're good fried or roasted.

I need a fact check. Anyone who knows Spanish well enough, is this why they are called tostones.
(The irony of the other comment about internet searches, I am too busy)

I think it’s basically “toasties”.

Makes more sense as toasties.
