Honestly, the existence of solottrpgs is a bit of a revelation for me. I’ve been interested in ttrpgs for ages but I don’t have a consistent schedule. Not being able to commit to a session led to me never exploring it further.
Now I might be able to try it out without the risk of letting down a bunch of people.
Check out Ironsworn and Ironsworn: Starforged. I'd say they are the peak of Solo TTRPG, Starforged especially. The Ironsworn PDF is free to download. There is even a pirate themed expansion called Sundered Isles.
