Yeah definitely the hardest. I try to just find something close. A little leniency on the tracking is my reward for cooking for myself (not too much leniency mind you...)
I’ve used Lose It! since I started back in October and have loved it. Easy to add recipes, and great insights a too. After a month or so I ended up buying Premium, just to support the development, so not sure what’s behind the paid version and what isn’t at this point.
I think finding something that’s simple that you’re willing to use every day is key. It’s worked for me, and helped keep me accountable, with 50+ lbs lost so far.

I used to use fat secret
I find what's hard about these apps is it's hard to input homemade dishes or dishes with multiple ingredients that get divided up

I just started using Cronometer and am loving it so far. I hear it’s got the best database for tracking nutritional values.
