You’re supposed to expand! And hire junior farmers! But keep ownership of the produce! Then you own all the food, so you can invent yourself as King
We likely started farming in earnest and stopped moving around because it was required in order to brew beer. And then we figured out it was a lot more stable to farm than hunt and gather. Then, boom we accidentally a civilization.
So, the reason for the end of the world... is beer?
