Anyone play The Thaumaturge? A turn-based isometric narrative-heavy more-C-ish RPG. Polish pre-world war fantasy. Looks pretty dang cool from a year ago (it's had patches since). It's on a big sale

I have and it's definitely one of the most unique games I've ever played. The combat system's rather simple, but the narrative and story make this game pop. You're somewhat of a supernatural detective/Pokemon trainer who looks at seemingly random junk across the street and is able to experience the emotions held by its previous owners to solve cases. It definitely needed a little more polish in some parts of the story, particularly at the end but overall it was a memorable experience.
