I did this once to my boss at work and it became a whole thing where everyone in our our department said "I love you" when ending a phone call or leaving for the day. Kinda made a shit job seem okay.
Maybe it’s simply a positive side of social internet or people are truly becoming more understanding, but this type of pleasant perspective dialogue was not so common 30 years ago.
