Hate to break it to you but you may have assembled your cat incorrectly.
It's like an IKEA cat. After all that work, and so many fasteners, you have to take it halfway apart and then put it back together. Drat the luck.
And after that, you still have a pile of leftover screws and parts that remain unused.
