Best platform for Crunchyroll?

Hey all, I’m looking for what the best platform (besides a PC) to use CR on. I currently use an XBox1 which is pretty good since I can use my IR based remote and the interface is pretty clean. I’m bummed that they don’t have a TV app like rumination used to have. I’d like something that is more focused on a living room than a tablet or PC. Might be best to just stick with my XB1 even though it’s overkill.

Me still using my Nvidia Shield TV 4k Pro for everything.

I have to back out the first time I load a show up however, because it de-rezzes....fine afterwards tho. 😓

How about a raspberry pi?

Potential Pros:

wireless control is possible via wireless mouse + keyboard
- provides better search experience via a physical keyboard
can't be paywalled by console subscription
adblock possible
an OS like Linux Mint or Ubuntu can easily be installed and used

Potential Cons:

can be expensive depending on cost of pi and peripherials
requires approx 1hr min - 3hr max to DIY
