It was originally an analogy for what we have done with the age of consent. I was in a discussion with a 21 year old who was terrified of sex. Gen Z is lonely and depressed like no other in recorded history. We messed up really bad with the overprotective helicopter parenting and the intense infantilization at ever higher ages.
