Is there a way for a user to block an instance?

I wanted to know whether as a user I can block an instance, as I can block another user or a magazine. I haven't found a way to do it.

The other question is whether this block (if possible) is bi-directional, that means, I cannot see their content and the users of the instance cannot see mine.

You can use the url structure kbin.social/d/instance.com

From there you can use the block function

I don’t know if it’s bidirectional, though

@goji thanks a lot!!
About the bi-directionality I will ask in codeberg when it is operative agsin.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work right at the moment. I still see posts from country specific instance i blocked that way (threads sorted by hot)

Yeah, that seems to be the case for a lot of filters right now :/

Like I have “hide adult content” checked, but browsing All is still peppered with porn.

There isn't a way to block whole instances.I'm not sure about the second point, so hopefully someone else can answer that for you. You can suggest features here.
