Personal Work: I Remember the Light,

This was one of my first pieces I wrote for my Nightmares project. I put a heavy focus on the first person view and emotional sense of desperation and protection.

As a bit of interesting context for this story: I don't have any children, so it was interesting how much my brain forced a scenario with me in a paternal role.
